Two Media Lab clients Ministry of Health and DoC named finalist in the 2024 NZ Marketing Awards

NZ Marketing magazine (owned by SCG) and the NZ Marketing Association (MA) announced its list of finalists in the NZ Marketing Awards with the Ministry of Health / Pae Ora and Department of Conservation / Fiordland Kiwi Diaries both being recognised.
Ministry of Health was a finalist in the Public sector and Government Marketing Effectiveness category for its public engagement programme for Pae-Ora. The programme employed social and digital media to poll views and opinions that were collected and inputed nto the design of Pae Ora, the public healthcare policy. Over 100,000 responses were gained from typically difficult-to-reach audiences.
Department of Conservation was a finalist in the Marketing Effectiveness category. They ran a video strategy across programmatic, BVoD and social media to promote and drive viewership of the Fiordland Kiwi Diaries video series.
The Media Lab developed the media strategy and plan to drive both campaigns. Antony Young partner at The Media Lab commented, “they are two exceptionally planned and executed media programmes that not just delivered the media effectiveness but exceptional outcomes for the clients.
Now in its 33rd year, the NZ Marketing Awards celebrate the collective excellence in strategic and creative thinking that goes into award-winning marketing. They demonstrate the tangible (commercial and human) benefits that accrue from marketing excellence.
